1 savory crêpe, ready to eat or freshly made

2 to 3 tablespoons cream cheese, softened

1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped

Smoked salmon, thinly sliced, enough to generously cover the crêpe

Fresh dill sprigs, for garnish

Alternative herb option, fresh chives or flat leaf parsley

Lemon wedges, for serving
1. In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with the chopped chives until smooth and well combined.
2. Place the crêpe flat on a plate or work surface. Spread the chive cream cheese evenly over the entire surface of the crêpe.
3. Arrange the smoked salmon slices generously over the cream cheese, slightly overlapping them to fully cover the crêpe.
4. Gently fold the four edges of the crêpe inward to create a square shape, leaving the center open to showcase the smoked salmon.
5. Transfer the crêpe to a serving plate. Garnish the center with a few fresh dill sprigs. If preferred, substitute dill with fresh chives or flat leaf parsley for a milder herbal flavor.
6. Finish the plate with a couple of lemon wedges on the side. Serve immediately.

This crêpe is delicious served open face, allowing the salmon to remain the focal point.
A light squeeze of lemon just before eating enhances the flavors without overpowering them.
